Boys Golf

• Golf holds a distinctive place in Mercersburg’s athletic history, with origins that date to the Academy’s early years in the 1890s.
• Longtime coach Dick Decker’s squads claimed titles in Mercersburg’s first league affiliation, the Mid-Atlantic Conference, in the 1990s.
• The Storm has posted an unbeaten streak in the Independent-Parochial School League Championships and produced a second-place finish at the PAISAA State Championships. More recently, the boys team won the 2024 Tri-County Invite.
• The competition schedule features both league and non-league opponents throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and culminates with the PAISAA State Championships and Mid-Atlantic Prep League Championships.
• Mercersburg has played home matches at nearby Chambersburg Country Club (which has hosted state and local championships and a number of USGA U.S. Open qualifying events) and other local courses.
