Mercersburg swept both Hill School (Pottstown, PA) and host Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ) in a Mid-Atlantic Prep League boys' varsity squash tri-match January 25.

The Storm defeated Hill 5-2 and then blanked Blair 7-0. Rayyan Khan '27, Kamran Gwadry '27, Dior Mitchell '26, Marcus Lee '27, and Finn Mauro '27 each won two matches with Khan and Mauro both posting a pair of 3-0 shutouts.

“Overall, it was another good weekend for the team," said head coach Dominic Benacquista, "however, a lack of focus and execution cost us two matches. As we approach the business end of the season, we need to sharpen our preparation and clean up our approach. The goal is to win the MAPL and qualify for Division One at Nationals, so we must be fully engaged in every aspect of our preparation.”

Mercersburg is now 16-1 overall and 4-0 in the MAPL. They will host Lancaster (PA) Country Day School on Tuesday, January 28 at 4 pm.
