Mercersburg defeated visiting Highland School (Warrenton, VA) 6-1 in a girls' varsity tennis match September 25.

Due to the dreary weather the tennis moved inside the Hale Field House where the Storm swept the three doubles matches (plus an exhibition) and then took three out of four in the singles.

Hisano Enomoto '25, Mogere Nyakoe '25, and Cate Dougherty '25 each picked up wins in both the singles and doubles competitions. Maddie Gray '26 teamed with up with Dougherty for the victory at #2 doubles while Anezka Pospisilova '26 and Ava Marathe '26 swept their opponents 8-0 at #3 doubles.

The Storm is now 3-2 and will host The Hun School of Princeton, NJ in a MAPL match on Saturday, September 28 at 1:30 pm.
