Mercersburg hosted Invitational Track Meet #3 on January 26 at the Hale Field House, and Bella Levina '25 broke the school pole vault record for girls' for the second time this season by clearing 9' 3".

Levina cleared 9' 1" back on December 8 to take ownership of the school record and extended it with her jump in this meet. Head coach Betsy Cunningham commented "Several kids PR'd, and it was exciting to have the guys run a 4x800 (Brendan Shorb '24, Winston Watkins '25, Will Wallace '27, and Chris Carbone '26) in 9:02.84, which is good for 4th on our Top Ten record board.  We will take a small group of athletes to the Georgetown Invitational next Saturday as a tune up for MAPL's." That Georgetown meet is on Saturday, February 3 beginning at 8:30 am.
