Six schools visited Mercersburg Academy December 14 for the annual Mercersburg Duals Wrestling Tournament and the Storm emerged victorious in all five matches on the day.

In the round robin format Mercersburg opened with a 47-34 win over Abington Friends (Jenkintown, PA) that turned out to be the closest contest of the five. After taking down Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD) 64-18 in the second match the Storm defeated Kiski (Saltsburg, PA) 50-30, then Gerstell (Finksburg, MD) 66-12, and finished with a 60-30 win over Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC) in match #5.

Several members of the squad will attend the Beast of the East Tournament at the University of Delaware from December 19-22 while the full team will be back in action after Winter Break with a tournament at The Hill School (Pottstown, PA) on Saturday, January 11 beginning at 8 am.
