Students with an "SD" after their names were designated as Scholars of Distinction. See below for a brief description of the criteria and selection system used to come up with the team and an explanation of the Scholars of Distinction designation.

"The NFHCA National Academic Squad program honors junior and senior high school student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher through the first semester of the current academic year, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

Additionally, over 1340 students are being honored as NFHCA High School Scholars of Distinction, a recognition reserved for seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0 through the first semester of the current academic year. These Scholars of Distinction, denoted by an “SD” designation, were nominated by their NFHCA high school member coach."
