Mercersburg fell to the visiting Frederick Force 3-0 in its last regular season volleyball match October 20. 

The Blue Storm came out strong and led 11-3 in the first set before the Force awakened and ran off 12 straight points. Frederick was mostly in control the rest of the way, taking the three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-15, and 25-17.

Before the match, Mercersburg honored Emily Jiang '24, the lone senior on this year's team. She was escorted onto the court by Ms. Emily Parsons and then accepted gifts and praises for her leadership from her teammates.

Mercersburg finishes the regular season with a record of 8-8 and now awaits seedings and opponents for the first round of the independent school state volleyball tournament on Saturday, October 28.
